Drug bust

A search warrant executed Friday in Walker County resulted in the arrests of four people for various drug-related charges.

Agents with the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force, Walker County Sheriff's Office, and the Georgia Department of Community Supervision executed the search warrant at a location on Clark Court, near Corinth Road in Walker County.

Twelve ounces of Methamphetamine and a large amount of U.S. currency were found on the property.

While the officers were at the location, a vehicle pulled up the driveway and then sped away. Agents knew the person to have felony warrants and chased the wanted subject, taking them into custody on Monroe Green Road.

Those arrested were:

  • Anthony "Chip" Crowe - Lafayette, GA - trafficking methamphetamine
  • Anita Cox - Lafayette, GA - trafficking methamphetamine
  • Jessica Cox - Lafayette, GA - trafficking methamphetamine
  • Clay Borman - Trion, GA - fleeing and attempting to elude (felony), possession of methamphetamine (Chattooga County warrant), cruelty to children (Cherokee County, Alabama warrant)
