Dade County Emergency Management said Tuesday afternoon that the storm shelters in the Dade County Justice Building and the Dade County Administration Building have been opened.
This comes as the National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch, in effect until 9:00pm.
The watch includes 49 counties in Georgia, and in the Local 3 viewing area:
- Catoosa
- Chatooga
- Dade
- Floyd
- Gordon
- Pickens
- Walker
- Whitfield
