Before the State of the Union address on Thursday, March 7, Sen. Marsha Blackburn spoke with Local 3 about a new bill promoting online safety for children.
Blackburn says the Kids Online Safety Act is very close to getting passed. She mentioned that 66 other members of the senate are cosponsoring the bill.
Blackburn said this act will give parents the toolbox they need to keep their kids safe online.
