The American Red Cross has stepped in to assist a family of five after a house fire caused a reported $250,000 in damages Wednesday.
Authorities responded to the emergency at 3409 Anderson Pike Avenue at 1:45PM after the homeowner called 911.Â
Responders with Waldens Ridge Emergency Services and the Signal Mountain Fire Department discovered flames coming from the den and were able to extinguish the fire with an interior attack.Â
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
No one was hurt.
