A pedestrian was hit and killed on I-75 in Athens late Wednesday night, the Tennessee Highway Patrol said.
According to a preliminary report, the 29-year-old woman was allegedly walking on I-75 North in the right lane near exit 49 when she was hit by a car.
The driver is not facing any charges at this time.
