EPB has warned users of a phone scam affecting the area.
They said if you receive a call from 423-414-4291, it is not from them.
The caller will tell you that your payment has not been received, and your power will be disconnected in 30 minutes if you don't pay the agent on the line.
EPB said don't believe it! If you have questions about your power or payments, call them directly at 423-648-1372.
